Chinese New Year is celebrated extensively every year as it is the most important festival in the country. The 2021 New Year begins on Friday, February 12 and ends on January 31, 2022. According to the Chinese horoscope, the Year of the Metal Buffalo comes right after the Year of the Metal Rat (2020), when Blizzard Quieks the Prankster released, and before the Year of the Water Tiger (2022). Buffalo is the second of twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac. He is known all over the world for his patience and perseverance; with these qualities and consistent effort, he manages to get ahead.Recommended editorialcontentThis

Today, in celebration of the Year of the Metal Buffalo, Blizzard introduced Lucky Syak Yun, a brand new mount for your collection. The new addition, which will make more than just Tauren players' eyes water, is available directly from the in-game store or from the Blizzard Store. It will be included for free
with a 6-month subscription to World of Warcraft (note: players who currently have a 6-month subscription that will be renewed at a future date will receive Lucky Syak Yun at no additional cost). Once you have purchased a 6-month subscription from the Blizzard Store, Lucky Syak Yun will automatically be added to your in-game mount collection. Keep in mind, however, that the mount is not available in World of Warcraft Classic. Click here to order from the Blizzard Store.
Like all previous Chinese mounts (Shu-Zen the Divine Guardian, Hogrus the Lucky Pig, Quieks the Prankster), the golden yak can of course fly!
