WoW: Thanks to a bugfix you can finally complete the achievement Adventurer of the Bastion

The WoW developers never tire of releasing new hotfixes to fix minor and major bugs in WoW Shadowlands. A hotfix could play a bigger role in the long run than it might seem at first glance. Players can finally complete the achievement Adventurer of the Bastion. Since the release of the current expansion, a bug caused the rare enemy Fallen Acolyte Erisne at the top of Bastion's Purity to not grant progress for the achievement - even though you have to kill her to get the achievement.

However, this problem has since been fixed. Now, if you search for and kill Fallen Acolyte Erisne in the northwestern section of Peak of Purity, you will be credited with progress for the achievement. This should also lead to many players finally getting the Shadowlands Explorer meta-achievement, which requires exploring all areas of the Shadowlands, capturing all treasure, and killing all rare enemies.

The Shadowlands Explorer achievement may be a prerequisite for unlocking flying in Shadowlands for your account starting in patch 9.1. We don't know for sure yet, but since the developers have already rejected a reputation grind, we think it's quite likely that the Explorer achievement will act as a replacement. Many players will be happy to know that they can finally kill the last enemy they need for this achievement. Are you one of the lucky ones who have already secured the achievement? Write it down in the comments!
